Dr. Oliver Pye (Co-Founder & Managing Partner)

Before his engagement as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Catenate GmbH in 2001, Oliver gained consulting experience with Deloitte Consulting and Roland Berger & Partner Int. Management Consultants in the early nineties. In 1995 he joined Andersen Consulting (later Accenture) in their Munich Office. His last position was Senior Project Manager.
Because of his professional career and his extensive education, Oliver was able to build up know-how especially in three areas of expertise:
First, he is a reknown expert in the management of innovation and product development, especially in the TIME industries and in the Automotive sector.
In his PhD-Thesis he analyzed the link between demand creation and product distribution in the semiconductor industry.
Second, on the demand side he has profound knowledge with customer acquisition & relationship management, where his experience spans several industries.
Third, he concentrates on supply side and has helped several companies to smooth their supply and demand planning cycles, thus reducing supply chain costs.
He published several articles so far and has frequently been a guest speaker in forums and conferences .
In his spare time he experiments with Nouvelle Cuisine, enjoys long-distance running and all kinds of mountain sports.


Gennaro Castellano (Co-Founder & Managing Partner)

Before his engagement as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Catenate GmbH in 2001, Gennaro gained broad work experience in several areas. From 1993 to 1995 he was research associate at the chair of Business Informatics at the University of Passau, from 1995 to 1998 Gennaro was employed at DATAC Franchise GmbH as Manager of the Product development/ IT consultancy department. Later on he acquired expert knowledge as Consulting Manager and Practise Manager "Portalbuilders" at IMG AG in St. Gallen (CH).

Gennaro has profound knowledge in designing, implementing and running internet applications and deep knowledge in all important programming languages like C, C++, Javascript, Lotus-Script, SQL and ABAP/4. Besides he gained detailed competencies in major development tools and libraries. Furthermore Gennaro is certified both as a SAP Business Workflow Consultant and as a Microsoft Certified Professional. Due to his professional know how, he was able to publish several articles so far.
Because of temporary employments abroad and his Italian origin, Gennaro has broad language skills and country know-how. 

In his spare time Gennaro spends time building up his home entertainment platform. He is an expert in alternative music and films.
